Job Summary |
NAVSYS, a GPS and NetCentric innovation company, seeks a systems architect for programs delivering GPS engineering Products, Solutions and Enterprise Services to DoD and commercial customers. These products typically have tightly integrated hardware, software, firmware, and database solutions. The architect is an experienced hands-on engineer who can design and lead the development of complete back-end and front-end solutions in a fast paced hi-tech R&D environment.
Because of the technical nature of the DoD programs involved, the architect brings a strong technical background and direct DoD experience. The architect possesses the ability to serve as the project team technical lead on matters concerning systems and software architectures.
This position requires a motivated self-starter and team-player with the ability to address diverse challenges in a complex environment – amongst these challenges are inter-program technology dependencies and mid-program technology changes. Excellent organization and communication skills are a must. An ability to operate fluidly and efficiently and to motivate technical staff assigned in a matrix organization will contribute to the incumbent’s success. |
